A little about UCD

This semester, as all of you probably know, I am attending University College Dublin (UCD). Compared to AU, this place is HUGE and most of the buildings look exactly the same! Below is a map, and I know you can't see what the heck is what...that's all they gave me...

So yeah, there's the map....right.

Some little facts about UCD:
  • UCD was established in 1854
  • During the 1960s and 1970s, UCD moved from St Stephen's Green in Dublin city center, where it was first established, to the Belfield campus 4 km from the city center
  • The origins of University College Dublin date back to the Catholic University of Ireland (YAY CATHOLICS)
  • Among the professors during this phase of UCD’s history was the poet Gerard Manley Hopkins and amongst its most famous pupils was the writer James Joyce (PRETTY COOL)
So there ya go, a little bit about where I will be until May!

Until next time,
